Social media for artists from someone who understands both worlds
Social media for artists from someone who understands both worlds
I help artists and makers become more visible online. As a social media strategist and practising ceramicist, I understand both how to create the work and how to help people discover it.
I decided to put my own social media expertise to work on my ceramics - and the results were remarkable. Over 25 million views within the first 6 months, a following grown from 400 to 6,000, and sales and commissions generated directly from social media.
Now I'm helping other artists and makers with their social media.
It wasn't always like this
It wasn't always like this
Before I got a bit more focused, I knew exactly how easy it is to let it slide. The making and the art always comes first. The posting gets pushed to later. And then it never quite happens.
Sounds familiar?
So if social feels too much, or you're not sure what to post - or whether anyone's even watching - you're not doing it wrong. You just haven't had the right support yet.
Today, artists have an incredible opportunity to build visibility without relying solely on galleries, craft fairs or word of mouth. Social media is one of the most powerful ways to help people discover your work - but only if you know how to use it well.

I treated my own ceramics account with the same strategy, consistency and understanding of what makes content work that I'd used professionally for years.
I post just once a week.
I'd rather spend my time making pottery than thinking about Instagram. The aim isn't to do more - it's to do the right things consistently.
The results:
25 million+ views
400 → 6,000 followers
Sales and commissions generated directly through Instagram
That experience showed me that visibility is something you can build with the right approach. Now I'm helping other artists and makers do the same

Why work with me?
Why work with me?
Most social media coaches understand marketing.
I understand both marketing and making.
I understand the maker's relationship with their work. The ick of self-promotion. The fear of seeming too salesy. The tension between creating and marketing. I've felt all of it myself - and how it feels to move through it.
That means when we work together, I'm speaking your language from the start.
